Centennial Celebration

On February 23, 1917, Brea's founding families incorporated a small wildcatting oil town and put the City of Brea on the map. Since then, Brea has grown into a vibrant business, recreation and cultural center boasting housing and services for a diverse community. Now it’s time to celebrate the 100-year journey that created one of Orange County’s premier cities!

Come Out and Cheer on the Parade!
Amp up your energy and make some noise whether you step out in the procession or cheer from the sidelines. Brea's Centennial Parade marches down Birch Street to the Sports Park on Saturday, May 20, at 9;00 a.m. Bring your friends and celebrate!  Parade Route

Make History at the Centennial Picnic
Non-stop entertainment and activities will make the Brea Centennial Picnic a historic gathering. On Saturday, May 20, the Brea Sports Park becomes the perfect setting for all of the outdoor fun from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During the festivities, churches from the Brea Ministerial Association will provide hospitality.
One of the activities will be a classic car show
